Safari Town Surf Shop offers 2 & 3 hour guided kayak tours of the extraordinary Salmon River Estuary.

We offer tours to both small and large groups.

If you are looking for a good team building activity for your work retreat or a fun adventure for your family reunion, we can accommodate groups sizes of up to 30 guests.

If you’re looking for an intimate honeymoon paddle for 2 or a way to connect with your teenager without the distraction of technology, we have a kayak tour just for you. We happily take groups of 2 or more.

The Salmon River Estuary is Oregon’s last remaining UNESCO Biosphere Region. It is also the 1st designated Non-wilderness Scenic Research Area in the United States, making this a one of a kind special place! Whether you’re looking for a lesson on the history and ecology of the estuary, the wildlife and unique habitats of the estuary, or just looking for a serene paddle without the noise of everyday life, our guides are educated and experienced in all of the above.
